Our services are exclusively aimed at Intellectual Property (IP), Commercial and Corporate Law. We ensure that creations of human intellect are legally protected and commercialised effectively.
Tshaya Mashabela Attorneys is located in Hatfield and is easily accessible to the Companies Intellectual Property Office in Pretoria. The firm is a walking distance from the Hatfield Gautrain station thus easily accessible to our stakeholders.

Our Origins
Tumelo Mashabela, founded Tshaya Mashabela Attorneys during November 2015 and officially opened its offices during April 2016. Our origins were motivated by a desire to be an agent for change, transfer skills and build a successful and proudly black owned and managed IP, Commercial and Corporate law firm.
Our ultimate goal is to create a viable platform that will be a major contributor in addressing the current shortfall of IP Practitioners and black-female owned IP firms in South Africa. We believe that participating in the IP related field, will offer us an opportunity to address wider social inequalities and economic imbalance that beset our society.
Corporate Social Investment and Collaboration
Tshaya Mashabela Attorneys is passionate about empowering the youth and ensuring that IP awareness is spread far and wide. To this end, Tshaya Mashabela Attorneys has collaborated with several institutions to offer training programmes that inform learners and innovators about IP. The firm has collaborated with the University of South Africa (UNISA),Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) and Industrial Development Zone East London to run IP awareness workshops.
In keeping with our desire to be an agent for change and transfer skills in IP, commercial and corporate law, Tshaya Mashabela Attorneys offers 6 month internships to UNISA final year LLB students. In addition, we offer 3 month internships to TUT paralegal diploma students who require the experience in order to obtain their diplomas.. To date we have trained two UNISA final year students and one TUT student. We also train aspiring IP and commercialisation professionals who are seconded to the firm by institutions such as the Technology Innovation Agency
