Role: Marketing Officer
Location: Tshwane, Gauteng
Role Summary: Tshaya Mashabela Attorneys Inc is searching for a dynmic Marketing Officer to join our growing Firm. The Marketing Officer will be responsible for enhancing brand awareness and promote the Firm through strategic marketing initiatives. This role involves managing online content, executing SEO and SEM strategies, and developing innovative marketing campaigns and business development to increase client engagement.
Key Responsibilities Digital Marketing and Campaign Management
- Develop and optimise online marketing campaigns across Google AdWords, Facebook, and other social media platforms to increase brand visibility and drive business growth.
- Implement Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategies, including keyword and content optimisation, to enhance search rankings.
- Manage and execute media plans, setting objectives, budgets, and target audiences for campaigns.
- Monitor and analyse digital marketing performance using tools such as Google Analytics and WebTrends, providing insights and regular reports on key metrics.
Content Creation and Management
- Write and curate engaging content for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
- Develop the Firm’s content strategy, ensuring consistent, well-researched, and accurate messaging across channels.
- Create and manage online newsletters, promotional emails, and other communications to build brand loyalty and engagement.
Client Engagement and Feedback
- Track and respond to client feedback across marketing platforms, addressing issues or complaints promptly to improve client satisfaction.
- Manage client communications, supporting the Firm’s brand reputation and ensuring effective resolution of concerns.
Events and Professional Partnerships
- Plan and implement internal and external Firm events, ensuring all logistics and promotional elements align with the Firm’s brand.
- Actively and proactively manage professional memberships and affiliations for the Firm and its Directors, identifying opportunities for new affiliations that align with business objectives.
New Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities and manage responses to Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), supporting the growth of the Firm.
- Draft and edit proposals to ensure compliance with the Firm’s corporate identity and branding guidelines.
- Research and Strategy Development
- Conduct market research and analyse competitor activities, client preferences, and industry trends.
- Share insights and case studies relevant to the Firm’s services, contributing to the development of marketing and business strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (NQF Level 7) in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Journalism.
- Minimum of 3 years Marketing & Communications experience, with a proven track record of accomplishment in a client-centric environment.
- Minimum of 2 years in Digital Marketing, with proven experience in social media management, Google AdWords, and SEO/SEM.
- Certification or affiliation with a recognised marketing or communications body is advantageous.
- Experience working within a legal or professional services environment would be advantageous.
